Tell Congress: Invest in the Delaware River Basin
We need your help reaching out to Members of Congress to fund the Delaware River Basin Restoration Program in fiscal year 2020. Congress will vote by December 20 on the Interior Appropriations bill which contains funding, leaving us only a short time to act! Will you send a message to Congress asking them to invest in the future of the Delaware River Basin?
The Delaware River Basin Restoration Program would make funds available to nonprofits and state/local governments to address the basin’s environmental and conservation issues. Funds will go toward on-the-ground projects that improve water quality, increase wildlife habitat, reduce flood damage, and enhance recreational activities within the basin.
The program will create a cleaner, healthier basin for 13 million people in five states who rely on it for drinking water, and for the wildlife that depend on the basin for food and habitat.
Take action before the December 20 Congressional deadline - stand up for the Delaware River Basin!
